A unique item for any space memorabilia collection. These are the backup Palmtop computers for SHUCS. SPACEHAB Universal Communications System (SHUCS) made its debut aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery (STS-91), which launched on June 2, 1998. SHUCS was designed to provide researchers on Earth with continuous, reliable access to data and images from experiments being conducted aboard the shuttle and, eventually, the International Space Station.
Authentication documentation is included. The palmtops are identical to the ones that actually flew. They are packed in the same foam and yellow kapton tape that flight hardware is pack in, they have the blue Velcro used in space, they're shielded with silver tape and the stylus are safely tethered to avoid losing them in MicroG.
